Like I said I'm Just a dev. My site has been modified different than the original theme.

I have checked (over a month ago) the "original" script you are using, your script, mods, and your themes as well as the "original" theme (copied from another CMS, and changed license.. aye? ), they all have serious backdoors.

You said that you pay cash for your security experts? I see several serious issues and fully open for offers, any cash involved would be contributed by me to the WebAPP organization.

Kind and safe regards
On

No I don't pay money for security checks. A group of us do work with security issues for the state and government. I do some work for webapp just for fun.

On a different note I've noticed a nice security issue with the classifieds mod though. Thats why now I've modified and created stand alone mods that are not connected to the core code in any way but only uses the theme.

Wooow, I guess my imagination betrayed me again, I was sure you wrote something like: "I pay for hackers to check my site"...

Nothing personal, but I am not too impressed by gov. security experts lol.  Do a search on master hacker analyzer it would give you a good clue why I find it funny smile.

We don't work them as employees but do some freelance work for them here and there, by hacking into websites that pose a threat or certain sex offenders sites and so forth.

Back to discussion, I am not going to help a competitor to fix his security issues, not only because it makes no sense, also because I did not and would not expect the competitor to post credit links in her version to this site here. I have actually seen the competitor deleting all links to my sites from her version page... to be more exact smile.

What a joke...

In your case, the only security fix is to delete that piractical piece of crap off your server and install the only Official WebAPP sanctioned by the WebAPP Developers.  You will notice that there is not an us and a them.  Its the WebAPP Developers versus a former singular developer thrown out for spamming the code, stealing others work and taking inproper credit for work she never did.

So why are we discussing the security of a piece of crap based on old code again?

Your solution is simple and waiting in our downloads folder.  Nuff said.

I think you may have got the wrong Idea. I'm not seeking counsel or asking anyone to fix security issues. I didn't come to this site for any help in any way to regard of the other webapp its against my code. I just came here to offer some of my knowledge with scripting and so on and so forth. I'm not a pirate I do not take someone else's work and  call it my own. I am what you would call neutral.

I like neutral...

You want to work on both platforms, thats fine...  install a copy of "The only Official WebAPP" somewhere on your server and see the differences for yourself.   Then you have a reference point to work from.

He already did that, just that his "unpaid" (they stopped getting paid this week wink) security hackers advocated  him against using our script crycrycry...

I guess they found it more practical with the back doors in the other script.. (as long as their payment is stopped?) wink.

They left that corrupted infected piece of crap on the server, yet complained about the actual WebAPP???

Are they security personnel?  or mentally challenged?

I f you really want to find out install a hackers log into your script just to see where people are attacking from. Then you can concentrate your efforts there. With the stats it can make the owner look like they've been hacked in some cases they haven't and then looking at when a file was last modified on your server is a help.

We are having several hundreds hacking attempts here on daily basis. Most of them do not even reach the error log (they are blocked and recorded at another level). So what?

By the way where do you think the stats script (that you are asking me to install lol) came from? Who do you think wrote it at the first place? I found it funny that you ask me to "install it here too"...

Now THAT is classic.  hehehehe

the pirate scripts minimalist stats are old junk code compared to what is in the "Actual WebAPP script".

On wrote them, so he should know.

I wonder what other propaganda they have been filling your head with? :)
