Still waiting for the DNS to catch up.. but the site is registered now, its www.mlapp.org...  for multi language app.

At moment it will redirect you to the langauge support forum at web-app but will start uploading there something once the DNS starts catching up.


As most of you probably know I am digitaly.. in charge of  a group of 150 teachers all which are divided into langauge groups... (approx 60 langauges!). Very busy people with not too much motivation of working for free..

So I got this idea..

1.) Registering a langapp site.
2.) Providing free langauge files.
3.) Allowing people to contribute a symbolic fee (3-5 usd) via paypal if they wish. The money will directly to the translaters!
4.) Anyone that contributes 3-5 usd will become a VIP member.. thus will be provided all future translations for mods, plugins and future versions to the rest of his/her life.
5.) Modules: language plugin and traslator modules are not in the package.. thus no contribution would be needed to become a VIP user of these scripts.
6.) Thus one would only pay for "extra translating services" and not for the the scripts.

Would appreciate alot your feedback:
Is it greedy to run such a "contribution system"? Or is it fair to charge for services?
