While I am having trouble finding the script...

I had a Perl script which looked just like this but loaded up programmable data.

I am still trying to find this, it would make it easy for us to have our own built-in version of this feature for the script...  and its GPL :)


Well here is one that is perl, and SMALL and simple...  and could easily be used to set up a Members World Map...
Right now it is set up to display Airports around the world...  just by figuring out a way to set up a Users data file instead of the airports one... you got it...

Just to save energy searching..
These scripts require gd library which is NOT packed with the default Perl pack and it would be usless to rip the module as it needs to be complied.

Anyway the good news are that we won't need to compile anything or rip anything to have something "like this" integrated within the new statslog graphic display.

Changed the front image and link because it is unclear, I hope SafePit ClustrMap have no problem accepting the way it is displayed ane link now.

Maybe you are mixing up the image displayed on the side blocks with the actual mapping image...

I noticed that one is fixed on the server here...  while the large one is running off the ClustrMap service...

I like this service and just added it to one of my sites!!! :)

My generic signature.

Nope, it's built based on the location associated with their IP's.  It's not perfect, but it doesn't require anyone to submit their location information -- it's just a generic representation.

Note that it's a 3rd party site, you can to sign up and use it on your own site if you'd like.  Just click the image.  ;-)

Oh that's really cool!  I think only about half of our members fill out the country in their profile.  And a lot of them seem to have the United States as their country, even though they obviously have foreign e-mails.

It works best to put the little image (the html code they give you) on every page.

The "big image" on the link at their site won't show up till there is enough data to generate the first image.  Once it is built, you can do like On did and link directly to it.

I have a delete icon (the trashcan in the bottom right).  Do you not see one?  You should also be able to edit your post (paper with an e on it).
