There used to be a thread about having a static index page that won't get changed by web-app, but I can't find it now. Anyone know how to disable the feature that modifies the index.html page?

The index.html page just redirects to index.cgi script. It is this script that builds the dynamic page, using data from articles, forums, blocks, etc. What you are wanting to do more clearly?

I want to have my own static index.html page. If I replace the web-app index.html page with my own, web-app will overwrite it and my page will be gone tomorrow. I used to know how to disable that, but I forgot and I can't find the thread that told how to do it.
